Ironically, the simplicity of being able to start a business with an idea, a laptop, and a rich friend these days, can be the same reason why businesses struggle to thrive. This Communication Age we are experiencing, spark the desire to create a name for yourself. That’s a lot of names, and a lot of the same services. Without proper representation, these dime-a-dozen companies may not survive.

It used to be that a company would have to be around for many years to earn credibility (as well as having a great marketing campaign). Now, aside from reliability, a great deal depends upon selling an easily accessible product–online.  In other words, a company’s advertising medium must be able to spread the word like wild fire, specially at the places where the customers are plentiful. With the virtual world of the internet, you  can now:

  • Find people you’ve lost contact with (overseas or next door),
  •  Form groups and organizations where like-minded individuals enjoy a safe haven to express their idiosyncrasies
  • Develop an identity (true or imagined)
But most of all, you can now sell, buy or trade services.

The merging of more than one multimedia service has been a god-send to creating the right buzz. Not only can you Tweet, but now your Twitter feeds can be viewed in you blog. Simplified, the business world to me is just like a giant high school popularity contest. The more people that know who you are, the cooler you look.

However, if you cannot keep up with the demand to update your status or upload new pictures, you may be left in the dust.  And that’s where I come in ^-^

I’m happy to say that I am now (since 5 hours ago lol) an enthusiastic Social Media Manager at Lang Media!

By utilizing social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube (just to name a few), Lang Media provides small business— or individuals, with cost-effective high quality media advertising. Aside from producing commercial videos, infomercials and training demos,  Lang media will be the bridge connecting small businesses to their target costumers.  By not having to worry about updating the plethora of networking accounts that are required for online exposure, a growing company can focus it’s energy on financial growth and expansion.

I can’t wait to start, doing what I love best!
