What do you get when you combine foodscapes (food-landscaping) + food characters+ gibberish-backwards-language? “FOODTOPIA: An Edible Escape”

Whether Tim Burton‘s  Nightmare Before Christmas or LIttle Otik by Jan Svankmajer, I’ve always been a fan of stop motion animation.

Last semester  I discovered a photographer named Carl Warner, who made AWE inspiring foodscapes–and was instantly hooked. He took pictures, but what if i made a short film?

I see it now! A coming of age story about an apple and an orange. OF COURSE!

$270 dollars, 3 gigantic bags of produce, and 3 months later….Foodtopia was born.
