I am proud to say that this month, I’ll get to contribute to charity– (which is part of My Bucket List) twice.
The Draw 4 A Cure at St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital this Saturday May 12th, is an annual event that in the past have raised money to support families (with mounting medical bills) who have been affected by cancer. Artists like Jennifer Pastecchi (aka Amazonian Queen) will be among the artists who are selling art, jewelry and books to contribute. Being a family event, there will be a bounce house, face painting, raffles, prizes, games and more.
I will be going to the Draw 4 A Cure event with my crew from Limit Break Studio to show our support.
THEN on, I’ll be attending the AIDS Walk New York with my bestie Cristina on Sunday the 20th at Central Park ^.^
If you ever feel lazy, hopeless or without purpose, join a fundraising event–at least once in your 80+ existence.
Give meaning to the “same old same old” days that we get to have, that others would cherish in a heart beat.
